As we frequently sponsor workshops and even week long camps there is often a need for participants to rent a hotel. The better known hotels such as The Empress don't need my recommendation. They're a great luxury if you're into that but are very costly. This page recommends some less expensive options.
If you are coming here for Taiji purposes consider booking a few extra days and explore our beautiful city and the surrounding area. There are many things to do in town and out of town.

Victoria is on an island off the west coast of Canada. The island is confusingly called Vancouver Island but that city, Vancouver, is on the mainland.

The weather here is temperate all year round. We rarely go below freezing even in the depths of winter. Our group is always able to sustain outdoor workouts year round.
Parts of the island are rainforest. We have sunny beaches, mountains full of snow, skiiing, water skiing, snorkeling and diving and some truly great restaurants. Its worth your while to spend some time exploring the area and making your holiday that much more exciting.
In no particular order here are our recommendations. Buyer beware! We have done our best to recommend good, clean hotels but as we live here we don't visit these places on a regular basis. If you do have problems at any of these hotels let us know and we'll remove our recommendation.
