Upcoming workshops

Victoria Chen Taiji Academy is hosting two workshops and one mini-intensive in the coming weeks.

Master Chen Zhonghua will be here on March 29/30 for a full two day workshop on Chen Style Practical Method.

From May 4th to 6th we will be instructing at a retreat on Quadra Island. April Point Lodge and Oak Bay Marine Group are hosting a Yoga, Tai Chi and Qi Gong experience. For more information contact www.obmg.com.

May 6th to 11th we will be hosting a mini-intensive featuring "Tiger" Carl Lindberg teaching Chen Broadsword and head instructor Gordon Muir teaching foundations, Yi Lu and applications.

We teach Chen and Yang style Taiji and are currently based in the Burnside/Gorge Community Centre at the corner of Jutland and Cecillia. We offer beginning taiji classes every Monday and Wednesday. Please call us (592-4463) for more information about which style of taiji may be the best for you.

Yang Style Traditional Long Form

Gordon Muirs book Yang Style Traditional Long Form T'ai Chi Ch'uan: As Taught by Master T. T. Liang is now available for pre-purchase at Indigo's, Chapters and Amazon. It is expected to be on the shelves of bookstores by May 13th.
